 Electrical & Low Voltage Contracting

Since 1987, BEC has been active in a vast range of projects in the construction industry in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical and General contracting.  Keeping pace with the rapid changes inherent in this field, BEC is committed to keeping the company up to date in every aspect of the industry from periodically upgrading our IT department to providing employees with ongoing instruction and training to stay current on new technologies as they evolve. Our technicians are manufacturer certified and install according to EIA/TIA standards. Our team consists of the following three departments for Commercial, Industrial and Residential projects: ELECTRICAL AND LOW VOLTAGE, MECHANICAL and GENERAL CONTRACTING.

ELECTRICAL AND LOW VOLTAGE:
This department handles all aspects of the electrical and low voltage trade from design, to pulling permits, to product procurement and implementation, supervision, budget and contract concerns.
Our capabilities include:
  • Fire Alarm Systems, Design and Installation
  • Telecommunications Systems Design, Telephone/Data Wiring, Relocating Phone Systems, New Installations, Trouble Shooting and Maintenance
  • Business and Home Computer Networking, Video and Sound Systems, Multimedia, Home Theatre
  • Security, CCTV Video Surveillance Systems and Access Control System
  • Panel Upgrades, Wiring and Rewiring, Transformer Installation, New Circuits and Outlets, Electric Meter Relocation, Switchboard & Generator, Timers and Motion Sensors, Recessed Lighting, Track and Accent Lighting, Dimmers and Switches, Touchplate Lighting and Security Lighting, Indoor/Outdoor Lighting, Fluorescent Ballast Changes, Ceiling Fan Installation, Maintenance and Trouble Shooting.

MECHANICAL:
This department handles all aspects of the HVAC trade from design, to pulling permits, to product procurement to implementation, supervision and budget and contract concerns.  The Mechanical Team stays in step with the newest technologies that enable us to provide our customers with optimum solutions and no project is too big or small when indoor air comfort is compromised.  Our Mechanical department capabilities include:

  • Remodels/Renovation/ Retrofit

  • Major Service Work
  • System Upgrade/ or New System Designs
  • Preventive Maintenance

GENERAL CONTRACTING:
This department handles all aspects of the GENERAL CONTRACTING from design to permits pull up to product procurement, supervision and contract concerns. All coordination with the owner, engineer and the contractors of various trades are handled by this department. Capacity of this department is from small residential units to large commercial buildings, new construction, remodel or addition.
